About VFAF: https://veteransforamericafirst.org/

About Operation TX Strong: https://operationtexasstrong.org/

OTS is a grassroots effort started by Bobby and Peggy Crutsinger in Weatherford, TX.  The couple made a promise to Peggy’s father, a Vietnam Veteran, before he passed away, that they would take care of the veterans.  OTS accepts privately donated RVs (including campers and motorhome and any supplies to fill them with) and refurbishes them to better accommodate the needs of veterans. These refurbished RVs are then given to homeless veterans, once a location is secured for the placement of the RV.  With the help of friends within the community, they organized into a structured non-profit so they could expand efforts to house homeless veterans across Texas by their motto, “One RV at a time.  One Veteran at a time.”  Their heartfelt efforts were so well received that their local news station, CBSDW Channel 11, published a story on the project.

Veterans Paradise – OTS has set a goal to raise enough funds to purchase a large plot of land and establish permanent housing for homeless veterans so that they have stable housing while they rebuild their lives. Drawings of the Paradise property are underway and will be revealed shortly.
